Dr. Ed Mills is a native of the Lake Norman area.
He received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1979.

Dr. Mills is a 1983 graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pa.

He served as clinical chief of optometry for the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas, in the United States Army.

Dr. Mills opened his private practice in January 1987, which moved to its current location in 1999. He is a member of the board of directors of the Mooresville Savings Bank. He and his wife, Karen, have two sons. His hobbies include water sports, hiking and coin collecting.

Dr. Chuck Monson was born in Charlotte, NC. He received his Bachelors Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002.

Dr. Monson attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry receiving his doctorate in 2006.
He specializes in the treatment of eye infections/disease, contact lenses, and prescription of eye glasses.

In his off time, Dr. Monson enjoys participating in several sports, including soccer, snow-skiing, flag-football and boating.
